Support and Community Rehabilitation:

Our support service, tailored towards child development, aims to ensure holistic care – surgery, therapy, enabling environment and social support.

 

Information and Awareness: We organise lectures, seminars, press conferences, social media, and events to highlight the importance of education and prevention

 

Rights and Advocacy: We work with partners to protect the rights of children with SBH and to advocate for good policy and best practice in healthcare

 

Capacity Building and Empowerment: Our support group offers information, peer supports, and friendship with people sharing similar experiences, reducing isolation

 

Research: We conduct research to identify new / existing SBH cases and promote global best practice in SBH management

 

Special Events: FFF organizes special events such as The Children’s Day, World Disability Day, annual WALK events, World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day, and Christmas / end of year parties to promote social inclusion and community integration for children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus
