A diagnosis of Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus can be overwhelming — for the individual, for parents, for the entire family. Questions arise that many healthcare providers don't have time to fully answer. Fears grow in silence. FFF steps in to fill that gap.
Since our founding in 2006, FFF has provided counselling services to hundreds of families across all parts of Nigeria — offering a compassionate, knowledgeable ear and practical guidance at every stage of their journey.
We also signpost and refer families to appropriate health institutions across the country where specialist treatment can be accessed — ensuring no one falls through the cracks of Nigeria's complex healthcare system.

Distance is not a barrier. FFF provides counselling support by telephone and remote channels for families across Nigeria who cannot travel to Lagos in person.

FFF signposts families to appropriate health institutions across Nigeria — connecting them with neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, and other specialists they need for treatment.
Diagnosis & Information Support
Helping newly diagnosed families understand what Spina Bifida or Hydrocephalus means for their child — breaking through medical jargon with plain, compassionate explanation.
Ongoing Follow-Up
FFF maintains relationships with families over time — checking in on progress, updating referral pathways as needs change, and ensuring no family is left unsupported between visits.

Nigeria's healthcare system can be difficult to navigate — especially for families dealing with complex conditions like Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. Knowing which hospital offers neurosurgery, where to access urological care, or which physiotherapist has SBH experience is not easy knowledge to come by.
FFF bridges that gap. Over more than two decades, we have built a comprehensive signposting network — maintaining relationships with appropriate health institutions across all regions of Nigeria so that no family spends precious time searching in the wrong direction.
All referrals are provided free of charge. FFF does not charge for counselling or for signposting families to medical institutions. Our goal is simply to ensure every family gets the specialist care they need, as quickly as possible.
